south high logoLamoureux Pagano and Associates has been selected to provide design services for the South High Community School Building Project for the City of Worcester. Representatives from the City and the Massachusetts School Building Authority reviewed eight proposals and interviewed two firms, ultimately ranking LPA first for the building project.

South High was built in 1978 and currently has a number of deficiencies that hinder the school’s ability to optimally deliver their educational program. It is unknown at this time whether the project will result in new construction or renovation and addition to the existing school, but LPA is excited to work with the City of Worcester and the school district on this important project. This will be the sixth public school project that LPA has undertaken for the City of Worcester, including the nationally recognized Worcester Technical High School and the Nelson Place School, now under construction.
